Sukuks
Sukuks open after the seat sale clears and the pool launches. The first can be bought 120 minutes after the pool opens, once a tranche is open, and a tranche can open only when a duPRT vault is live on Robinhood Chain.
What a Sukuk is
A Sukuk funds one tranche of Islamic trade finance. You pay USDG. The USDG is deployed into one of SukukFi's duPRT vaults, which finance trade receivables. You receive SUKUK at a discount to the 4-hour average price: 2% for a 3-month lock, rising to 10% for 36 months.
While your Sukuk is locked, it shares in that tranche's outcome. When the vault pays realised profit, part of it buys SUKUK that is credited to the locked Sukuks. When the tranche records a loss, the locked Sukuks bear it, side by side with the Agency's own stake.
When the lock ends, your SUKUK and its credits are released over at least four weeks. You can leave early, at a cost. Your USDG does not come back to you: what you hold is SUKUK, and its price can fall.
